Sue-min Lee, owner and chef from Sue-min’s Restaurant will be making a fabulous Mediterranean dinner for the Women’s Network of Wayne County. This is a group of interesting professional women that normally meet monthly with a different Notable Woman from the area. As a Summer alternative, the group has asked TODAY’S KITCHEN STORE and Sue-min to hold a cooking class. If you love meeting some great women in a casual setting, enjoy Sue-min’s excellent food and cooking instruction, or just want to see what the cooking classes buzz is all about, this is the event for you.
The class/dinner will be held on Tuesday, August 16 from 6pm to 8pm in the TKS Demonstration Kitchen. It is a “demonstration” style class where Sue-min will make all of the items and the students will both take the recipes home and taste everything. The cost is $20 plus tax per person and the menue will include the following:
- Flat Bread served with Hummus bi Tahina (all made from scratch)
- Insalata mista with Red Wine Vinaigrette (also made from scratch)
- Roasted Chicken Breast with Herbs and Pesto Sauce
- Fresh Summer Fruits served with Silky Chocolate Pudding Sauce (from scratch) and dollops of Fresh Whipping Cream
