Rachel Ray, Guy Fieri, and both Bon Apetit and Food & Wine Magazine have done it and now it’s TKS’s turn! Local baker at Buehler’s Milltown and foodie, Kaalyn Tate is going to take three very simple food concepts and turn them into divine sophisticated treats. Most people love reminiscing over childhood plates of the past, even though our pallets have evolved since those days. And when a Grilled Cheese Sandwich sounds like a great idea for supper, they often leave us longing for “more.” The recipes of yore that will be updated in this class are the grilled cheese sandwich, a quick salad, french fries, and mousse. Learn how to update AND sophisticate all of these simple dishes and create a dinner menu that is sure to amaze even the most refined guests!
This class is being held on Wednesday, April 4th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the TKS Demonstration Kitchen. This class is a demonstration style class where you will get to taste every dish prepared and take the recipes home with you. The price of the class is $28 plus tax per person and the menu being planned is:
- Croque Madame Sandwich
- Roasted Beet Salad
- Jicama Oven Fries
- Goat Cheese Mousse with Red Wine Caramel
