Founded in 2003 by Jonathan Milo Leal in Athens, Ohio, Vino de Milo started with three wine-based pasta sauces. From the beginning, the company has made the commitment not only to keep their business production local but also to source their ingredients locally wherever possible, supporting a variety of farms and other food businesses in Ohio’s Appalachian counties.
The Vino de Milo product line now includes:

- Salsas such as Mango Pineapple
- Barbecue sauces
Many of the products are vegan and have no sugar added, with an emphasis on all those homegrown flavors of summer produce.
